On the 30th of August 2010, Fabiano put an end to speculations about a move away from Sevilla by signing a contract extension till 2013. On the renewal Fabiano stated his intentions “This is my home, I’ve been here six seasons and I will try to continue scoring goals and continue making history for Sevilla.”

Frederic Kanoute

Kanouté is a French born striker playing for Spanish side Sevilla. He started his professional career for Lyon before heading to West Ham in England. After 84 appearances for the Hammers, scoring 29 goals, he brought his services to Tottenham Hotspur. He had mixed success during two years at Tottenham and was sold to Sevilla in August 2005 for €6.5 million. At Sevilla Kanouté has played his best football. He has also played 41 times for his country, Mali, and scored 29 goals. In 2007 he was named African footballer of the year.

Didier Zokora

Didier Zokora

Didier Zokora is a defensive midfielder who plays for Spanish side Sevilla and the Côte d’Ivoire national team. Zokora started his career in the Ivorian ASEC Mimosas’ youth academy, which has produced so many top quality players. From Mimosas he went on to Belgian team Racing Genk and French team Saint-Étienne before arriving at Tottenham Hotspur in 2006. Zokora had played in the Côte d’Ivoire national team since 2000. His strong performances at the 2006 FIFA World Championship made several English clubs interested in signing him and he chose Tottenham. He had three good seasons with Spurs, where the team won the 2008 League Cup and were runners-up the following season.
Zokora signed with Sevilla ahead of the 2009-10 season and had another successful year. Sevilla won the Spanish Cup and came 4th in the league, qualifying for the Champions League.

Ivica Dragutinović

Ivica Dragutinović is a defender who plays for Spanish side Sevilla and the Serbian national team. Dragutinović arrived at Sevilla in 2005 after having played the past 9 years in Belgium, for Gent and Standard Liège. When Sevilla sold Sergio Ramos to Real Madrid, they brought in Dragutinović as his replacement. In his first season at Sevilla the won the UEFA Cup. The following season the defended the UEFA Cup and also won the Spanish Cup. Again in 2009-10 Sevilla won the Spanish Cup while Dragutinović also played a huge part in Serbia qualifying for the 2010 FIFA World Championship. Unfortunately he sustained an injury and could not feature at the Championship in South Africa.
